Besides Formula 1 there are some other major racing events each year, both on two or four wheels that drag an incredible amount of visitors to the race tracks. Today we will focus on racing in the United States where one legendary event is held for almost a century now and only gets bigger year after year.

Time for our picture question of the week. This time it is not about finding the errors but we are going to check your knowledge of race tracks.

Recently iOpener and BMW did a joined test session at the famous Nùrburgring Nordschleife. The 22km long Green Hell is used as a test track for a lot of car manufacturers where they try to break the track lap record for their class.

At the iOpener Media office we sometimes have time to relax and play a race game for fun. We have of course most of the racing titles available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, just like you at home!

After 3 long hours of racing the Marcos and the two Mini's are approaching the end of their races. It has been a good test from technical perspective. The testers have seen a group of Mini's that were nose to tail for the full set of races we had today, brilliant driver skills from all involved!

The real cars at Zolder have started their race, closely followed by the gamers sitting at home behind their pc's. The RTR Crew is of course live on the track in Zolder and we have taken some pictures of the real cars in action.

The orange box, the technological heart of every iOpener Enabled vehicle is today subject of a daily quiz question.

This Friday Circuit Zolder host the Dunlop sponsored Open Time Competition for our beta testers. New beta keys have been sent out this week so we'll have a maximum reach of testers available for this last live event of 2009!.

Another Rally question today about one of the most succesful drivers of all time in the WRC.

The RTR Crew sat down with the Formula Le Mans Series champion of 2009: Nico Verdonck and we spoke about his racing career and the iOpener Enabled feature.

Due to the big succes of our competition we have decided to extend the time you can send in your answers at the end of the competition. You now need to send all your answers before the 11th of January 2010 to become the winner of the race license and to race a real Mini Cooper on Circuit Zolder.

Today Skylimit Events from Belgium agreed on supplying a race-license course for the winner of the December Quiz! This means that you can become an official licensed race driver.

Last month here at RTR it was announced that we signed up a legendary driver, who everybody likes to see in action again! The reactions were overwhelming of people guessing in the different forums and sites who it would be. Names of the Schumacher brothers, Verstappen, Coulthard, Raikonen, but also names from the past were mentioned ofthen, such as Lauda, Stewart and Mansell.

Today's question is about the legendary Le Mans track, one of our all time favorite courses. The track is well known by many endurance race fans in the world and many of those fans have been watching this track for years on television during the 24 Hour races.

More easy than this question of the day it won't get this month! You would expect the answer to be Nordschleife after yesterday's news item, but we have announced earlier this year what our official test circuit is.

On Tuesday the 8th of December 2009 the iOpener team will, do an initial test for BMW on the number 1 favorite circuit for racers and gamers: The Nürburging Nordschleife.
