Xavier Maassen who recently tested a lot with iOpener to improve the live racing feature in the Real-Time Racing Game told us the happy news today: he signed a deal that will allow him to drive in his two favorite racing series: FIA GT1 and the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans

This year Xavier Maassen will start in the all new FIA world championship for GT1 cars driving a Mad-Croc Racing Corvette C6.R prepared by DKR, the team he already joined for some races last season. Also, the 24 Heures of Le Mans are again on his program,  once more in a Corvette GT1, but for the team of Luc Alphand Aventures.

"In both the FIA GT1 World Championship as the 24 Heures of Le Mans I am very ambitious to start. I want to win races this season, especially at Le Mans and from there compete for the world title in the FIA GT1 until the dying seconds of the season", said Maassen.

With the help of an experienced teammate Xavier Maassen will try to become the first ever dutch driver that wins an official FIA sanctioned world championship.
