On Thursday May 6, 2010 we will reach another milestone. During the Clean Week of Zolder we offer you the chance to experience a WTCC car as one can see on Eurosport.

The Car

We have prepared for you a Seat Leon 2.0 TDI according to the latest S2000 specifications. With over 280 horsepower on the front wheel drive train and an engine running on diesel we are proud to let you enjoy this mean racing machine in your attempt to show the world who is the fastest touring car driver on Circuit Zolder!

The Driver

Pierre-Yves Corthals from Belgium is a driver who participated in three seasons of the Independents Trophy. In 2006 for JAS Sport with a Honda Accord R followed in 2007 and 2008 driving for his current team Exagon Engineering with a Seat Leon TFSI.

During the upcoming WTCC round on Circuit Zolder he will make his comeback in the premium class of touring car racing and will join you in his preparation for the big event coming this summer!

The Event

This Thursday the live races start at 14:20 GMT and will finish around 15:00 GMT. After a personal instruction about the Seat Leon and Circuit Zolder, Corthals will lead you around the track in his car.

To promote the Clean Week, the first fully fledged CO2 neutral mobility event that is held at Circuit Zolder he will drive green technology powered Seat Leon Ecomotive

In order to respect the FIA sporting regulations that prevent WTCC drivers to test on a championship track prior to the race, he will not drive his bio-fuel powered Seat Leon TFSI WTCC car

Your objective is to learn as much as possible from the professional racer and with that valuable information try and squeeze your Seat Leon TDI over the finish in a blistering lap that will make you the virtual track record holder for touring cars!

After the live event we will make the races available for you as a stored race, so in case you've missed the event or want to re-experience it again you can play it as many times as you like.

As an extra bonus we have included the Seat Leon WTCC liveries of Tom Coronel and Pierre-Yves Corthals, which you can select as your favourite player car.
