The Ather gets three driving modes – eco, ride and sport. It can do 107 km on a single charge with a top speed of 80 kmph. It is available at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Hero Optima series

Hero Electric’s Optima range is doing well in the country. The two iterations – Optima E5 and Optima ER – offer the same settings except for a double 48V battery in the ER trim. On a single charge, the scooters deliver a range of 55 km and 110 km with a top speed of 42 kmph. It takes 4-5 hours to charge the batteries. The E5 and ER variants are priced at Rs 66,551 and Rs 68,721 (ex-showroom prices), respectively.

Ampere Zeal

Up against the Hero Photon and Okinawa Praise, the Ampere Zeal can deliver a top speed of 55 kmph. With a range of 75 km on a single charge, the Zeal’s battery takes six hours to charge completely.
